During Dutch Design Week we celebrated the launch of our newest publication, ESCollab, ESC & Research! Together with the Network Applied Design Research, we hosted a festive evening at Keukenconfessies in Eindhoven, marking the release of two books from our networks.
After inspiring presentations and a shared dinner, we concluded the evening by handing over the books to our partners at Nationaal Regieorgaan Praktijkgericht Onderzoek SIA and CLICKNL, a moment of appreciation for how design research connects, and moves practice forward.
The ESCollabs featured in the book highlight hands-on research collaborations in which designers, researchers, and societal partners tackle complex transitions together. As Caroline Hummels (Professor Design and Theory for Transforming Practices, and member of our ESC Expert Council) writes in the foreword:
