In this interactive workshop, we will explore four practical methods for gaining insight into stakeholders and complex networks of people. Within the Expertisenetwork Systemic Co-design, a range of tools has been developed from different perspectives to help visualise and understand these often-invisible relational systems.
Together, we will explore, compare, and experience these tools in action. The workshop is designed as a space for collective learning: not only to understand how and when to use each method, but also to reflect on how to further develop and apply them in practice.
We will work with the following approaches:
A creative methodology in which a group represents its challenge as a landscape or map. By turning complexity into a visual terrain, the invisible becomes visible—making it easier to navigate uncertainty and move forward in unfamiliar contexts.
A method for making the dynamics within a system—such as a family, a healthcare network around a patient, or a group of stakeholders in the energy transition—both visible and discussable. Sociona helps grasp shifting group dynamics and their broader context, while preserving individual perspectives.
The Mountain View is a collaboration tool for people who want to identify phases and the corresponding level of participation throughout (living lab) projects.
This tool acts as a mirror providing insight into the status quo, skills, and professionalism of your organisational unit regarding collaboration with partners (internal or external).
Throughout the workshop, participants will actively engage with the methods, exchange insights, and build a shared understanding of how these tools can support systemic thinking and co-design in real-world contexts.
