How do we achieve societal missions such as the energy transition, circularity and a sustainable food system? ESMEE is investigating how regional entrepreneurial ecosystems can be strengthened in such a way that sustainable entrepreneurship can truly flourish.

In this project, we combine big data, systemic analysis and co-design. Together with regional development agencies, researchers and policymakers, we are building an understanding of the regional conditions that enable mission-driven innovation. We are developing dashboards, roadmaps and an ongoing learning community where knowledge is gathered and immediately fed back into practice.

ESMEE supports regions in creating conditions in which sustainable entrepreneurs can grow, experiment and realise the innovations our society needs.
